I'm looking forward to tasting Soylent Green...
Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity.

It really is an interesting and terrifying question. It illustrates how people can focus too much on practicality, and not realize that they're treating other people like objects. It could even result in some sort of cannibalism eventually, if moral values decline enough.

I just hope that things don't go down that path, even though it seems like it might be likely that they will at one point. Our only salvation might be to colonize new planets. We really should consider increasing NASA's funding.

I agree. I think it is a case of greed leading to the objectification of workers as a consumable item, kinda like the toner cartridge of a laser printer.

Eh, I suppose we are all tools to someone else at some point. Problem is some people don't know how to take care of their tools very well and break them more often than others.

People taste like pork, and not like chicken as the cliche goes. (Don't ask me how I know that?)

That's what I've read in stories about cannibalism in the South Pacific and Africa. Dare I ask?

The reason I know is because I used to eat pork.
