I am amazed at the wild assumptions thrown around and antagonizing that came out of a simple thread about dancing.

To clarify; by 'dancing' I mean intuitively enjoying music in a physical sense. Choreography is antithetical to my idea of dancing.

Dancing is Dionysian - it takes you out of the quotidian and throws you into ecstasy.

If you are not amazed at the wild assumptions and antagonisms, you are not dancing.

Well, when you're really enjoying it, it feels like nobody else is there anyway.

I can't be the only one here who plays loud music when I'm trying to get the kids to help me with cleaning and gets them dancing around doing air guitar and using hairbrushes as mics and stuff like that, can I?
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”
