and I remember gas prices in Brazil being around $6.50 per gallon, US cost, a few years ago!

    LoL

    That's crazy expensive for gas!!

I read a news article a few months back about gas prices in a certain Alaskan village costing something like $8.55 per gallon because of how much effort it took to transport it there. Crazy talk...considering they have their own line and everything...but it was all true.

I'm in NW Ohio and...since I've not been outside today [too freaking cold!], gas yesterday was at $2.41 per gallon.

Heh. The highest it's ever been here, is around $3.50, and from the looks of things, we may see Sub-$2 prices in the next few weeks.

Ironic that Alaska has the highest gas prices....all the oil, no refineries.

Yeah, I know. I couldn't believe my eyes when I was reading that. I think I'll avoid Alaska in times of economic crisis...

$2.19 yesterday, haven't looked today yet

It always amazed me that it's so much cheaper here (4 hours away from Houston) than where I live in Houston like 1 mile away from like 20 refineries.

I just paid $2.36 at Rutters here. That's among the lowest I've seen so far in Harrisburg.

I filled up this morning for $1.93 a gallon.

We have these two gas stations at war with each other.. So one has an electronic sign, and one has a manual pin up. Eventually the manual one just posted up a sign saying "Unleaded 1cent Lower than the Chevron Across The Street!" XD It's been up for over a month now, and I believe only taken down once during the Hurricane.
