    Also behind most thoughts is a feeling of some sort.

    Happiness, joy, love, appreciation, laughter, etc. what is life without them???

    That is right, without them, life would be an apathetic meaningless hell of misery.

    So yeah, feelings are *incredibly* important.

    Oh oh! Logic failure alert.

    Misery = a Feeling = You lose.

    I think that the chemical process part is correct.

    As of the second part I think that there is no simple answer to that. But I think that emotions will extinct with time and probably the same will happen to logic as we know it.

    I thought she was talking about INTPs, but yeah, if she's talking about feelings, SHE FAILS.

    Those who feel apathetic are often miserable and yes, depressed.

    She probably fails theoretically.

    But I have seen many INTPs that fall into the category captain described, for the reasons he/she also described, practically.

    Also, I was not talking about a theoretically "pure" and absolute apathy, (such an apathy cannot and does not exist for human beings, sorry ).

    I would imagine you realize you've gone completely beyond the scope of MBTI or anything like it, so what you're saying doesn't matter at all.

    The question asks about the importance of feelings, and I gave my reply.

    Also, I am SICK and TIRED of people going overboard with these preferences/categories.

    Only because A.O. isn't as familiar with English as you and I was the question phrased that way. The OP is regarding T/F in the context of MBTI.
