Thumbs up Why is this so funny?

OK, I've watched these two clips about 30+ times and I have no clue why I find them so hilarious. I am being completely serious; someone please analyze why these are so damn funny!

Relationships have normal ebbs and flows. They do not automatically get better and better when the participants learn more and more about each other. Instead, the participants have to work through the tensions of the relationship (the dialectic) while they learn and group themselves and a parties in a relationships. At times the relationships is very open and sharing. Other time, one or both parties to the relationship need their space, or have other concerns, and the relationship is less open. The theory posits that these cycles occur throughout the life of the relationship as the persons try to balance their needs for privacy and open relationship.

I've seen this before. I have no idea why other people find it funny, because I think it's stupid.
I bet they'll put something in the air tonight, just to light your face.

But if we analyze it, then it won't be funny anymore!

Most humor is based on an unexpected juxtaposition. Incongruous elements combined just tickle us. In this case, it's human mannerisms and emotions - particularly dark ones - given to a cute little (hamster? guinea pig?...I'm not a zoologist.) The Kill Bill one adds the element of recognized themes from a very violent movie...again funny to be juxtaposed with a cute fuzzy animal.

These are funny for the same reason that most cartoons feature animals acting like humans.

Don't ask me why the O RLY owls are funny. I have no idea. Since I'm an INTJ that means that I must conclude that they really aren't funny even though they make me laugh.

Either my sense of humor is very advanced or hasn't evolved since the 1st grade- but I thought the first clips of the rodent's look was funny and I especially love the clip this person I am quoting posted- c'mon that's gold! Some things are just ....if you have to ask- you'll never know kind of a thing.

I laughed out loud at the unexpected groundhog and her startled expression.

Humor analysis: Juxtaposition of the expected and unexpected. That's all there is to it.

(Plus, this particular woodchuck usually does straight roles and Windex ads, not parody clips, so I did not expect to see her here.)
