Can I come over and play Portal at someone's house? I don't want to pay $20 for the other half of a two hour game.
![]() Eh, I also kinda want to try some of the other Orange Box stuff, might give in. |

Lots of oldies from Sierra and LucasArts:
Gabriel Knight I: The Sins of the Fathers Grim Fandango King's Quest VI The Longest Journey The Curse of Monkey Island Callahan's Crosstime Saloon and looking forward to anything else that Jane Jensen does.

Somehow, I think that video games are more of an Arts and Entertainment topic rather than Sports and Games, unless you're Roger Ebert. And he should have been a food critic...and now, he should be in a nursing home.
Anyway:
And these are not in a particular order. I am also a sucker for space combat simulators, especially the ones with Hollywood voice acting, such as Freelancer and Wing Commander. And I also got addicted to Roller Coaster Tycoon, but ultimately, I wanted my roller coaster designs to be as realistic as possible, so I sort of abandoned that game in favor of better programs.

1] FF III/VI-I has the entire series, but this one cuz it's my first x)
2] StarFox-Just awesome. 3]BioShock-How different was this right? 4] DOA Beach Volley Ball EXTREME!-It's like playing with barbies, but with super unrealistic body movements. Which are hilarious, and the pole dances. Common! 5]Prey-This game was so bad ass. Made me a bit nauseous at first. 6]The Typing of The Dead-Like "House of the Dead, except instead of shooting a gun you type words. 7] Mortal Kombat-Fatalities. Need I say more? 8] DOA 4-Again I like the whole series, but this one because it was so damn pretty, and the game play is really smooth. 9] Jim Power And The Lost Dimension-A SNES game. Sorta like Contra. Which also kicks your butt ![]() 10] Can you say...ROCKBAND!-Beyond awesome. None but #1 are in any particular order. So many games to choose from. Those up there may not even be my absolute tops. Just the ones off the top of my head. ![]() Don't even get me started. I could go for days about games and consoles. I collects them

Quote:
I suppose that being able to start right where you left off rather than restarting at a checkpoint or quick save could make the game a little too easy, but I thought it made it less frustrating -- having to keep on repeating a difficult part makes the game more repetitive and boring. The game also has an awesome soundtrack -- one of the best in video games. Also, the scariest video game I've ever played was Condemned: Criminal Origins (I have it for the PC). Condemned 2: Bloodshot, which I bought for my newly-acquired PS3, is nowhere near as scary as the first, so far, but it has more engrossing and elaborate gameplay mechanics, along with some other improvements.

No particular order, and I'm unable to make a top 10:
Final Fantasy (II, IV, VI, VIII and X) Guilty Gear Silent Hill (all but 4 because it sucked, imho) Devil May Cry series Shadow of the Colossus Metal Gear Solid series Castlevania series Suikoden series Galerians Monkey Island The Day of the Tentacle Shadow Hearts Alone in the Dark There are more for sure, but right now are the ones which I remember. |
