Default Recovery partitions

So, my Vista installation on my laptop has been screwed up for the last like 2 months. I finally hit the breaking point tonight and was downloading a vista iso to reinstall, when I looked at my computer and realized there was a recovery partition. I was able to reformat, reinstall vista and get back to my desktop in about a half hour. I know it's still Dell's bloated OEM, but at least I'm back to a working installation. So, I just want to say I'm glad there was a recovery partition!

Good that you got it working. I'm having computer problems right now too. It sucks.
