Nah, we share the same sentiment actually. I was just being dramatic. I'm moving to Tennessee here in a few weeks anyways.

And where is Safari you ask? Safari is probably sitting in some Seattle Starbucks (in a window seat of course) wearing skinny jeans, a knit-cap regardless of the weather and large, expensive headphones dangling uselessly around his neck streaming video of the above hilarity on a shiny new ipad whilst sipping a non-fat, skinny, soy, mocha, java chip, frappachino (decaf of course).

A Thinkpad might beat it from what you hear (could never get hands on it because they for some reason don't sell them here in many places), but those cost at least as much as a Macbook Pro.

Tbh if I would buy a new notebook I would probably neither buy a Macbook again (because I don't use it enough and could go with less), but I think at least for Macbooks the bashing isn't as justified. Most people just follow bash trends just as brainless as those people who buy Apple just because it is Apple.
Generally, Macbooks are more expensive than it needs to be. For a mid-range Mac, I can get a higher-end Laptop/PC.

I mean, I have worked with both PC and Macs thus far. But one of the obvious features is the cost of materials. Everything else is just based on experience and/or specific programs.

Also, you can use an emulator to use the Mac OS, though, I have yet to see a use for it.

That notion is false. Bring more hackers and virus builders into the mac world and you'll see it skyrocket. While it was considered "invincible" years ago, viruses were created on nothing flat with an experienced user for the mac. Also, the reason why there weren't as many viruses in the mac world pre-Ipod is because there wasn't as big of a use for them. Less people = less people to take information from. Why settle on the mac when most of the population was using a PC?

Besides that, the person has to be really bad at using the PC to be constantly getting viruses and malware to complain that a Mac is better. Something as simple as getting a free anti-virus and knowing a few simple pointers about preventing yourself from getting viruses/malwares/getting-hacked will clear up most of those issues.

I have one of those lint free microfiber cloths & a bottle of iklear. It cost me a few bucks & has lasted years, as a few drops go a long way. Works well for flat screen TVs also. However, it's like 99% water , but it has some silicone or something in it which reduces static & is alcohol & sulfate free (non-abrasive I guess).

If you choose to use a drop of detergent & water instead, just choose something gentle & very well diluted with distilled water (apparently, minerals in water can cause build-up).

When you wash the cloth, do it by hand & then hang to dry. The washer & dryer may make it linty & basically ruin it.
Often a star was waiting for you to notice it. A wave rolled toward you out of the distant past, or as you walked under an open window, a violin yielded itself to your hearing. All this was mission. But could you accomplish it? (Rilke)

It's amazing to me that the animosity between Mac and PC people is such that a simple thread about cleaning a screen turns into another pissing contest.
