It is good to program your Android to like humans.
They can become very nasty, otherwise.
You have seen the Terminator movies, yes?

(Just kidding, I know it's some phone OS... Bleh.)

Mightier than the tread of marching armies is the power of an idea whose time has come

    Here's a decent list.

Some of my favorites are Evernote, Ringdroid, Twidroid for twitter, Taskiller for killing open programs, Handcent SMS for reskinning the messaging system, and Swype which is an awesome keyboard app that lets you trace words across the keyboard really quickly and it's awesome, Aldiko book reader lets your read ebooks, and SNESoid is an SNES emulator to play SNES games on.

Thanks Jock! I'm downloading the Evernote, Ringdroid, and Swype now.

1.Quick Settings replaces a lot of widgets: it's the quickest way to turn off WiFi, to change brightness settings, to turn off auto rotation or turn on bluetooth.
2.AppBrain is a useful service that lets you find other great Android applications. It shows recommendations, applications that are suddenly popular and it also have a web interface.
