It's been a while since I saw the movie, but I'll say: ISTJ & ESFP

Yay! I knew that miserable ogre was STJ! An ogre and a happy donkey, so funny.

Considering the whole point of the first one is that he wants everybody the hell out of his swamp so he can live there alone again, and he seems fairly reflective otherwise... I'd say I is a slam dunk for Shrek. S and T, too. J/P is a bit more up in the air but since he likes his routines and all that jazz I guess I'd go with J.

Shrek is ISTP and Donkey is ENFP (NeFi) in my opinion.

Shrek: ISTP. Donkey: ESFP. Fiona: ISFJ.

    Now: how about Puss?

    Shrek: ISTx

Fiona's being ISFJ is plausible. What's funny is that Cameron Diaz might be that in real life, she's also done a bang-up job anytime she's played an ISFJ. (I am thinking particularly Kimmie out of My Best Friend's Wedding.)

To trace the remote in the immediate; the eternal in the ephemeral; the past in the present; the infinite in the finite; these are to me the springs of delight and beauty.” ~ H.P. Lovecraft

Funny, I always saw Cameron as a sterotypical ESFP. I don't see anything introverted about her. She also seems really easy going and likes to leave things open ended, which suggests P. I think the SF we can agree upon.
