Hank - SJ (always about tradition and doing things the right way)
Dale - NT (hatches schemes that are logical, even if he's the only one who understands the logic)
Bill - NF (always sees the good in people, seeking harmony and trying to diffuse conflict)
Boomhauer - SP (does what he enjoys doing and offers no explanations or apologies for it)

To me it's another example of a tv foursome illustrating the four temperaments.

Oh, and Luanne is my cartoon dream girl. I think she's ESFJ. She's very big on morality and tradition too, she just displays it in a totally different way than Hank.

Damn it Jeffster! You seem to win this one.

I never look at it that way! Perfect, simply perfect.

Hmm...I never thought of Bill as an NF, but now that you mention it, it does seem to make sense. Jeffster you win this thread.

    *Bumped*

I love King of the Hill!

Hank Hill - ISTJ. But I can see ESTJ - except at work he's so taken advantage of by his boss and he seems more content to live his own life by his rules than to be directive of others.

    Peggy Hill - ESFJ

    Luanne - ESFP

Bobby - Um...okay, if other people say ENFP I can see that..bah, could be worse

Khan - ENTJ? Also ESTJ? The characters were meant to be equals in many ways, except that Khan has upper middle class aspirations and likes gloating

Boohmhauer -ISTP, he's the bad ass loner who gets a lot of girls, supposedly he's a Texas Ranger

Dale Gribble - I could see super paranoid ENTP ... but he never catches on to the fact his wife is cheating or that his son looks nothing like him but a lot like John Redcorn His plans are also very very poorly thought out and even more poorly executed

Cotton Hill - I see ESTP more than ESTJ, 'cause that man talks a WHOLE lotta ish! And he's not really about upholding order or tradition so much as bossing people around when he needs something.

In "Sirloin with Love" episode it is never made clear if that badge is real or just another prop for getting chicks. Boohmhauer is most often suggested to be an electrican who is out on worker's compensation.

    Hahaha! Another fan!

For a loner, almost a recluse, he still somehow gets with a lot of chicks, so I go for that "ISTP" whole exual magnetism. I remember the THanksgiving episode where he goes home with not 1 but 2 flight attendents.

BTW, I can go for Bobby as ENFP more after seeing the episode "Won't You Pimai Neighbor" where it's revealed he's the reincarnation of a lama. A very happy, cheerful lama who liked to dance and sing and crack jokes.
