Just Don't Give a Fuck - Eminem
P.I.M.P/In Da Club - 50 Cent

Parting of the Sensory - Modest Mouse
Bad Guy - Eminem
Pretty When You Cry - Lana Del Rey

I find this song so soothing when I'm sad. I get swept up in the melody and it's like my heavy feelings are just pouring into it and being carried away from me (at least temporarily). I especially love the transition from the chorus to the instrumental bit from around 2:58 to 3:20.

Depressing music is my middle name. :p There's a million more, but these are some of my favorites.

stereolab - k stars

musically, it is fairly obvious. lyrically, the song deals with the passing of youth and youthful hubris? Not directly mentioned, but the overall downtempo tone contributes to that sense of fleeting youth and the irresponsibility that often comes with being young (teens, 20s). It also sounds funereal.
