Daria is sarcastic but she have not expectations from peoples at all, wich would be an NF things. She basically find peoples dumb and boring for the most part, but that don't suprise her. She is an INTP prototype.

HAHAHA I saw Daria on the Tv the other day.... HAHAHAHA Man I LOVE LOVE LOVE that show.... Daria hahah she is sooo cool and I sooo had a best friend like in when I was in school, however, she eventually unravelled at the seems and a funny cynical edge got the better of her... a mutual friend asked her what was in her sandwitches and she just ran out of the common room crying! HAHAHA

AND what about her best friend... she's the girl that everyone wants to be right.. and get a load of her footwear... love it! I have a similar pair

Daria -- Classic INTJ. Ni/Te combination. From personal experience -- I could be wrong -- INTPs are much less cynical and obvious about their apathy; rather, they're preoccupied.

Much has been made about her apparent irrationality, but deviations in her character come from the few minutes where she's at a loss, where Fi would come into play.

Jane -- ISTP. Very action-oriented, very here-and-now, good with her hands, pragmatic. Sensory, which makes her a good artist. I think she's a little dispassionate to be an F.

I was going to challenge you on this, and then I realized I didn't care enough.

Hahaha. I didn't mean to say that INTPs weren't apathetic or incapable of expressing it (when my INTP fiance really doesn't give a shit about something, conversation shuts down pretty quickly). What I'd really meant to say -- but neglected to mention -- is that I feel Daria's brand of apathy is a classic INTJ self-defense mechanism rather than the INTP carefree dismissal.

Then again, this is based on the INTJs and INTPs I know. Both can be very good at not giving a shit, but with INTPs the shutdown feels softer somehow.

About time others recognized her as a directive "Chart the Course" type!
