when Jesus was a 12 years old people were amazed by his knowledge when talking to the teachers of the law.
Jesus wrote not a single word. He was illiterate. He could neither read nor write.

Jesus belonged to a spoken culture, not a literate culture.

He was deeply foreign to literate people of today.
