Anyone think Jay Z could be an INTJ? He's a visionary, a perfectionist with a plan and a goal to make it a reality. He's incredibly focused and attuned to what needs to get done and how. ENTJ could work too, but either way, the Te is really developed with him.

Both men have empires in their own right, but Jay leads out front whereas Dre was always more behind the scenes.

Yeah now that you put it that way I can see it too. The Te is crazy obvious, the only reason I thought INTJ versus ENTJ is because he strikes me as being fairly introverted? His real self seems a lot more toned down than the business mogul image he's got going on.

Rappers/hip hop artists are tough to type for that reason...the persona. All celebrities have it but with rap there's this particular image. On PerC there's a thread asking why all rappers are ESTPs, which I thought was pretty hilarious.

Speaking personally, I come off as fairly introverted unless I'm comfortable with the people around me or feel something needs to be done. In the case of the latter, I'm pretty matter of fact and to the point.

I think Jay might also be an 8w9, so I'd imagine he'd be pretty low key when he's just doin him. Dre to me, otoh, comes off as more 6w5 or 5w6--the gears always seem to be churning in his head. Very active, mental tension that I associate with head types as opposed to Jay who has a more embodied, gut triad energy in interviews.
