Just about anyone who has watched or followed the Summer Olympics in some form or fashion has heard of this 2-time gold medalist (2004 and 2008), and one-time bronze medalist (2012) pole vaulter from Russia. Despite missing out on a third consecutive Olympic Gold, she remains the only woman to have pole vaulted above the 5 meter mark till this very day.
