There are other characters I could think of, but at the moment, some other characters I can of are that Link from the Legend of Zelda series, Luke Skywalker, and Spider Man are Neutral Good, Indiana Jones, Batman, and Superman are Lawful Good, Solid Snake from the Metal Gear series is Chaotic Good, and Ganondorf from the Legend of Zelda series and The Joker from the Batman series are Chaotic Evil.

I thought
- Ganondorf was Lawful/Neutral Evil. Chaotic Evil is more like a barbarian or fearsome warrior
- Indiana Jones seems more Neutral Good. he does value the law, but his lifestyle preferences clearly don't show much of a preference for order or rules

I'll add the others to the list

Edit: I also think Batman is neutral good, but I could see either

I feel like Vader's lawful evil and the Emporer is neutral evil, not vice versa.

Also, what makes you call Magneto, Boba Fett and Beatrix Kiddo chaotic evil? I don't know much about Kratos.

Dolores Umbridge from the Harry Potter books is an excellent example of the Lawful Evil alignment.

Yep.

And I'd classify Harry Potter at the opposite corner, a chaotic good.

I think magneto is more lawful evil and eventually moved to lawful neutral. His whole deal is not chaos for the sake of chaos, but wanting to protect his own (oppressed mutantkind) using violence because he believes it is necessary.

Lawful Good:
- Obi-Wan Kenobi (Star Wars)

Neutral Good, maybe.

True Neutral:
- Anakin Skywalker before Darth Vader (Star Wars)

Chaotic Evil. Does what he wants without control from anyone else and resists all rules and authority. Kills sand people and little children younglings.

Neutral Good:
- Simon (Gurren Lagann)
- Kiyomi Takada (Death Note)

Simon is Chaotic Good (as is most of the Gurren Brigade).

Takada is Lawful Evil (supports a fascist dictatorship where lawbreakers are put to death, although she seems to believe that that is somehow a good thing for society despite the fact that it's blatently evil).

Chaotic Evil:
- Beatrix Kiddo (Kill Bill)

She doesn't seem that evil. She killed people yes, but she had every reason to do so; they tried to kill her first. She also cared deeply for her daughter, spared a young child and even that teenager (albeit giving him a humiliating spanking for his stupidity, but that was for his own good). I'd say she's probably Chaotic Neutral.

- Boba Fett (Star Wars)

Lawful Evil. He sees the rebels as a threat to an orderly society (the empire) and believes himself to be doing the dutiful thing by hunting them down (although he's still a fairly bad guy).

- The Joker (Batman)

YES 100% The Joker is the archtypical Chatoic Evil exemplar, in every incarnation that he has appeared in.

Chaotic Good:
- Lelouch vi Britannia (Code Geass)

Not sure, my gut says True Neutral. He seemed to be very evil at times, in as much as he was good. Also, while he opposed a corrupt totalitarian government, he seemed to be fairly orderly in his execution and methods, which indicates some level of neutrality. Maybe.

I agree with most of this. I don't see NTJ as being chaotic though. I also think phobic 6s can be quite lawful.

RE: Kiddo from Kill Bill

RE: Boba Fett
Lawful Evil. He sees the rebels as a threat to an orderly society (the empire) and believes himself to be doing the dutiful thing by hunting them down (although he's still a fairly bad guy).

RE: Joker
YES 100% The Joker is the archtypical Chatoic Evil exemplar, in every incarnation that he has appeared in.

Although I'd call Fett neutral evil (he isn't working for the Empire because he sees the rebels as an evil threat. He's working with them because they offer a "substantial reward" for finding the Falcon, and because he can then hand Solo over to Jabba for another reward. One of the Imperial soldiers even says "we don't need that scum". He's a bounty hunter, and bounty hunter implies bounty. I'll bet he gives fuck-all about outlaws without a price on their head), this is what I was getting at. I'm not sure what criteria is used to find Fett, Magneto and Kiddo on chaotic evil.

Joker's obviously the poster boy for Chaotic Evil. The thing Alfred says about people like him in Dark Knight ("Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.") is pretty much their definition.

Some chaotic evils I'd toss up (as a point of comparison):

-Mr. Blonde from Reservoir Dogs ("I don't give a good fuck what you know, or don't know, but I'm gonna torture you anyway. Not to get information. It's amusing, to me, to torture a cop" is 100% chaotic evil. A neutral evil would call torturing someone who knows nothing a waste of time)
-Alex DeLarge (most characters who sing while they do horrible things are probably chaotic evil)
-Jack Torrence from The Shining (at the end, obviously)
-Marlo Stanfield from the Wire (a cool-headed chaotic evil, he hurts people just to do it sometimes, like the rent-a-cop at the store)
-Most serial killer characters (as well as real life ones) fit this, unless they think they serve a higher power (lawful evil) or they are getting something else they want out of it (neutral evil). So basically you can tack on Jason, Freddy, Michael Myers, Chucky, etc.

EDIT:

Also:
-Angelus from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The guy wants to destroy the world while he's on it, basically because he's bored and he likes to hurt people.
-Joffrey from Game of Thrones: his idyllic pastimes include torturing whores, shooting rabbits with a crossbow and cutting open cats.
