Default What type is Alain Delon?

Very famous and popular french actor, archetype of the brun ténébreux, what type do you think he is? My guess is ISTP 7w8 Sx/Sp (like Wolverine), maybe ESTP.

He could be ESTP, but he seems clearly introvert next the the ESTP Jean-Paul Belmondo.

Here is a long interview in english with Dick Cavett when he was 34.

(By the way, I'm like Delon there, I did'nt understand what Dick Cavett means by "fighting over a woman", I don't get it. Can someone help me?)

All I know about him is from his movies, but yeah, he's definitely more introverted than Belmondo. I don't know if it's the way directors wanted to portray him, but he rarely says anything. One of his most badass movies (Le Samourai) probably has like 3 lines. Heh

Here is an interview for Le Samouraï.

He's very at ease with economy of words, solitude and correct errors and inconsistencies. Seems to confirm ISTP.

The old Alain Delon seem more extrovert though.

In this interview, he makes humor about himself for his reputation to be narcissist and touchy, which confirms 7w8.

lol, it's a class of ISTPs I've observed having a similar vibe and behavior, eddie merckx being among them. I think he's either 7w8 or 8w7; Delon seems more 7w8 tho.

    I know what you mean. Eddy M is a 7w8 Sp/Sx. Alain D is 7w8 Sx/Sp.

They are similars ISTP You can also see the same style with Joe Perry and Wolverine, who are ISTP 7w8 Sx/Sp too.

So, it's more the "Social-last 7w8 ISTP" subtype, lol.

Did you etablish an entire typpology of ISTP subtype or is that just a random category that you identified?

Whatever subtype it is, it's too cool for me. I don't have hairy arms. What can I say? I'm Asian. Funnily, if I was an X-Men character, I'd be closer to that actress that played Jean Grey. She's a more real ISTP than wolverine (although she's female, so that means F amirite).

It's my best guess. She's another subtype lol (maybe Jill Hennesy fits there too.. maybe Keanu Reeves).

Then there's the slacker ISTP. Jason Lee subtype. Or Peter Gibbons from Office Space.

But I'm getting off the point now..
