Alexander er ESTP - I'll actually buy that.

Also, JFK keeps bugging me. Some kind of SP, but hard to tell beyond that.

Can somebody shed some light on these?

the thing about stalin is, there appears to be two personalities in there:

a) the young intellectual revolutionary ENTx
b) the machine mad in power in soviet xSTJ

Stalin run an ISTJ-like organisation, but was ENTJ, I think.

For Trotsky, I've seen that video:

Trotsky was a 5w6 Sx/So. I've read a book about him, and he appeared to be an INTJ, but on this video it appears clearly that he was an extrovert. He's similar with ENTP and ENFJ. I think he was ENTJ then.
