Sydney Pollack was a film director, producer and actor. He made movies such as Jeremiah Johnson, The Way We Were, Three Days of the Condor, Out of Africa, They Shoot Horses, Don't They?, Havana, The Firm, Tootsie, The Yakuza and several others. Out of Africa won the Best Picture and Best Director Academy Awards in 1985.

Pollack's type? I know I'm biased, but IxFx seems about right... If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say ISFP - he gives me S and Fi vibes for some reason.

I've seen him typed as 6w7, but 9w1 also seems to fit. He's got that "uncomplicated" vibe.
