I noticed that typelogic.com posted the 2008 Candidates and their types and I couple of interesting questions came to mind.

(I couldn't find any enneagram sites that looked like their opinions held any kind of water. If anyone wants to enneagram type them go ahead. )

1) First of all, if for some reason you were to pick a president based on their MBTI type, which type would you consider most ideal for the position?

2) Do these seem to fit the candidates correctly?

Barack Obama - ENFJ

Ron Paul - INFJ

John McCain - INTP

Mike Huckabee - INTJ

It could be. We don't really get good biographies of the candidates. Nor have I ever met on in person.

I agree with this. She strikes me as Si.

My guess for Hillary is ENTJ and Obama INTJ.

As for the others I'm not sure. Where are all our typing experts at? Toonia?

Clinton: INTJ
Obama: ENTJ
McCain: ISTJ
Huckabee: INFJ?

I personally see Obama fitting as an ENFJ.

I never even considered Hillary to be in introvert but now that no one else has contested it I have doubts.

I'd think Si with both Clinton and McCain for instance!

I don't know the other two well enough.

Whatever -- note my read for McCain, I am leaning towards ESTJ.

I can see Obama as an N easily!

Huckabee does NOT seem the slightest bit anything but Guardian to me though *shudder*

I don't know about McCain (as in, I have yet to youtube the guy), but I agree with Hillary as INTJ (she has her own thread here), Obama as ENTP and Huckabee as some kind of EP.

I agree with Obama 100%. He seems like a classic NF to me, ENFJ to be exact (love the man)

I thought Hillary was an INTJ, just from my intial feeling, but you guys have made me reconsider. I'll have to give her type more thought.

Mccain seems kinda XSTPish to me, the whole fighter pilot, party rebel thing I guess. I'm not sure about him either though.

The huckster seems SJish to me. Edwards does too.

Paul seems like a NT, but a lot of libertarians seem NT to me.
