One thing that is apparent in the movie roles he chooses is that he has his own mind, loves to cross the boundaries of what is acceptable (Secretary or Crash anyone?) and is willing to take risks. I would also go with an xntp vibe, though he seems more introverted to me.

I love Spader, but I find him difficult to type. I wanted to peg him as an NJ based on print media, his acting vibe and the parts he chooses, but seeing him speak in interviews I get an extraverted NP feeling. ENFP? Maybe ENTP. He seems quite personable, but scattered.

Old thread but, given in his older ages he dresses like an INFP, he must've been an ENFJ when he was younger.
