There can’t be any large-scale revolution until there’s a personal revolution, on an individual level. It’s got to happen inside first.

Gah, I would really, really like to settle on a type for Bowie, I can't figure it out. I definitely see 3w4 sx/so but I would need some convincing to believe he's ENTP. His images all seemed calculated and all mapped out, why not something like ENTJ for him?

    Bowie does seem Ni/Se.

I would also believe the frostiness of his general demeanor to be TJ.

From the interviews I've seen, though they are not that many, he came across as really polite and socially graceful even when the interviewer would act like somewhat of a douche. But that's a three thing maybe?

Oh and if it's worth anything, Bowie has described himself as very introverted until around his thirties.

Yes, ENTJs can be polite and socially graceful - have you met our very own AngryWhoreM.. YWIR?

But they have a reserve and a lack of generalized warmth than Fe has. I've even been briefly close to an ENTJ male who was very kind to me, almost looked after me, but his way of caring when it came down to it was to remind me to remain calm and put things in perspective rather than any kind of warm nurturing behavior.

IME, ENTPs have a kind of openness to them.

Alright then. I call ENTJ for Bowie until someone convince me otherwise.

    Hum, I think too.

As for David Bowie, I could see him as a J... But it's a bit the same thing than for Madonna, I'm totally sure she's ESTP, but people type her as ESTJ because of her very organised self-promotion and buisness. David Bowie as as 3 can be very organised in his creations as well, and hardly let things random. I could see the Ni/Se balance with him. He said also he was introvert for the past. Hum...Maybe ISTP?
