I think 3w4 is reasonable; he has a lot of ego. He is Fe, not Fi. The lyrics say as much. Anything concerning feeling involves someone else. There's no feelings that stand on their own from him. It's just not the way of Fi.

Anyway, I admit I am friends with an ENFJ who Jarvis reminds me so much of, I can't imagine him as anything else....

"Oh can't you see I'm ready now.
I've seen all the pictures,
I've studied them forever."
^e5?

"Help the aged
'cos one day you'll be older too
- you might need someone who can
pull you through"
^Fi?

I never said I was deep, but I am profoundly shallow
My lack of knowledge is vast, and my horizons are narrow
I never said I was big, I never said that I was clever
And if you're waiting to find what's going on in my mind, you could be waiting forever

5? Really? I realize its tongue-in-cheek, but I also read an interview with him where he said he was exploring ugly feelings and embarrassing confessions on that album (all which seem related to relationships with other people, not introspections on self removed from others). Not the charmingly dark stuff most write about, but what he compared to "pimples". So it seems there's some "self" in those lines....

And every touch reminds you of just how sweet it could have been
And every time he kisses you, you get the taste of saccharine.
It's not easy to forget me, it's so hard to disconnect

Fe ego or Fi ego? Fi-doms tend to be decidedly more self-deprecating when defensive. Here the defense is inflated sense of self-importance.....hmmm....

YOU CAN'T BE A SPECTATOR,
YOU GOTTA TAKE THOSE DREAMS AND MAKE THEM WHOLE.

"In the extreme, the panic and scattered mania of seven combine with twoish self-congratulatory hysteria."
http://mindheart.org/junction/oldcj/ep/types/5/54.html

Bill Callahan also pulls it off on that song about having an ego bigger than Texas.

Sounds like an ENFJ mantra to me
