I have a big crush on Dr.Drew Pinsky.
I want to know what you feel/think his type is. I haven't quite been able to figure it out yet.

I would have said ENFJ. I guess it's possible he's an I, but what with the radio show he used to do, and then his program that used to be on MTV about 10 yrs ago that was more of a talkshow format...I don't know. He just seems so in his element with people and in more of a spotlight role.

That's the first thing that popped into my head, but I don't watch him enough to be sure.

One indicator is how relaxed/"soft" he is in presentation, but he shows J tendencies in his appearance (he always looks put together even in casual clothes) and he can still be very firm. ENFJ does include that seeming dichotomy. Very engaging and warm, but not pushy or offensive. Can see other views but still be firm (while still speaking in a kind way) about his own.

my first instinct was that he was an INFJ, but my boyfriend argued with me until i agreed that he might be an e and a t.

I don't think he is INFJ. He seems more ENFJ.

I've laid off the celebrity typing, so the most I can commit to is EJ. He's not afraid to deal with people in all of their ugliness and he's a really calming and stable presence on Celebrity Rehab. I really liked the dynamic he and Adam had on Loveline. He's an teacher/professor, addiction specialist, relationship counselor, and motivational speaker. The relationship counselor part seems to indicate F, but of course not necessarily. His interests seem Fe-ish, helping and nurturing based.

OK, I've convinced myself he's an NFJ, prolly E because of the motivational speaker part and all the activities he participates in.

just because he helps lots of people doesn't make him E. you guys really think he's got Fe as his first function?

he's gotta be INFJ. he's the one person in all of popular media i relate to most...by far. not that that's a valid way of typing someone, but i mean...Ni/Fe/Ti/Se can explain his behaviors so well, much better than Fe/Ni/Se/Ti.
