I'm going to go through a movie list and shout out potentials. At least half are probably wrong..

Marla from Fight Club?
Penny Lane from Almost Famous has an ENTP vibe
Sophie Scholl (not fictional, sorry)
Matrix lady
Meryl Streep's character in KvsK
I suspect there's a few in Five Easy Pieces
Eve - All about Eve
Giovanna - Facing Windows
Mrs. Robinson - The Graduate
Irene Jansen - Dark Passage (sure of this one..if not S)
Eve Rand - Being There (ages since I saw this)
Jude - The Crying Game
Someone from Crouching Tiger (if not most)
Skylar - Good Will Hunting?
Kathy - House of Sand and Fog (ages since I saw this)
Dr. ES - Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Someone from Sense and Sensibility
Jane Eyre (F? She seems more T to me, despite Fi.)
The Bride - Kill Bill
Dr. Ruth Leavitt - The Andromeda Strain
Madeleine - Junebu
Someone from L.A. Confidential
Faye - Chungking Express (S?)
I'd say Liv Ullmann is an NT, so she's bound to have played a few, especially in Bergman films.
Probably a few of the LoTR characters. (forest lady)
Mrs. Appleyard - Picnic at Hanging Rock
Maria - You Were Never Lovelier
Klara - The Shop Around the Corner
Vivian - The Big Sleep
Brigid O'Shaughnessy - The Maltese Falcon
Sophie Kowalsky - Jeux d'enfants
Mary Justin - The Passionate Friends
Rachel Brown - Inherit the Wind (going solely on her sense of humour)
Tamsin - My Summer of Love
Tape - Amy Randall
Lauren / Sylvia - The Truman Show
Michelle McNally - Black
Ninotchka - Ninotchka
Rose Sayer - The African Queen
Joy Gresham - Shadowlands (presumably based on a true story)
Lolita - Lolita
Girl - Walkabout
Ann Talbot - Music Box
Olivia Harris - The Station Agent
Constance Harraway - The Life of David Gale
The female characters of Notre Musique (and likely other Godard films)
Dodo - Breaking The Waves
Mathilde - Armée des ombres, L'

I think Liv Ullmann, Emma Thompson, and Charlotte Rampling are very NT actresses.

I think Juno is an ENTP.
Chloe O'Brien from 24 is a definite NT.
There are few here and there- not many.

A lot of us are going to mistake ST females for NT (so beware)- since ST females can be strong, sarcastic and independent too.

Crumbs Colmena! That's quite a brain dump you took there. I'm gonna be up all night deciphering that.

I've thought of another. Sandy in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie. Sandy and her teacher, Miss Brodie, has to be one of the best NT/NF battles in film history. Infectious passion (but naivety) against sterile calculation and insight.

The type of Julie Vignon from Bleu?

I read Jane Eyre as an INFJ. I've known quite a few of them and they are the one NF type that is most readily confused with NT, just as INTP is the one NT type most readily confused with NF. Why? You tell me! But she's far more driven by values than by pragmatism for all her thinking streak.

"Now I have only one thing left to do: nothing. I don't want any belongings, any memories. No friends, no love. Those are all traps. "

I gave that one to you.....

Yes! I watched that again recently, and I couldn't agree more. I could always relate to Sandy.

I'm not sure about all of these, some I don't know, some are too crazy to type (e.g. Marla) and some look more like NFs to me.

I definitely agree with this:

Sophie Kowalsky - Jeux d'enfants aka Love me if you Dare!

OMG! I LOVE THIS FILM! LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!
That chick is MESSED up!

Also, I think Dina in Jeg er Dina. She crazy too....I'm seeing a pattern here.....not sure I'm liking it.....

Was that good? I missed it today.

It won a best writing oscar, so I ought to like it.

I can't take you seriously with those ridiculous mammaries!

It's ok if you like the whole Merchant-Ivory thang. I've seen it before at least twice.

I watched it again for the Florence scenes.

The love interest bloke is definitely an INFP.

I like Helena, I think she might be an NT.

Don't worry, I'll put my stern little girl picture back soon.

I saw HBC's Jonathan Ross interview. She seemed quite sensitive and nervous. (Although I guess an INT would be in a new setting).

Sounds like I'll either love it or hate it.

I don't think it's good enough to inspire either of those emotions.

Ann in The Horse Whisperer - ENTJ with some depth.

Kristin Scott Thomas might well be NT, someone mentioned her English Patient character was NT.

Her character in Four Weddings and a Funeral seemed INTP to me.
