    Default xkcd - type?

Hath thou ever heard of the xkcd webcomic?

If not, here is the webcomic itself: xkcd - A webcomic of romance, sarcasm, math, and language - By Randall Munroe

And here is the forum: xkcd • Index page

Now, I have seen various comics, books, films, countries, etc. given an MBTI type.
The question is, if one were to assign an MBTI type to xkcd, what would it be?

"Another roof, another proof." - Paul Erdős

Ah, yes. xkcd is one of my favorites.

It's rather dubious prescribing a MBTI type to a comic, but I will say that the overwhelming majority of the comic's fans are NTs. Or at least the ones I know personally.

That said, I find some of the material rather brooding, but poignantly self-reflective at the same time. So the feel of it seems very INT to me, probably INTP from what I've read about Randall Munroe. IMO it's too introspective, subtle, and not outlandish enough to be from an ENTP (cf Douglas Adams style humor) or ENTJ. But I could see it being INTJ, too.

Anyway, these are two of my favorites.

I love that comic. I'm not sure I'd try to type it as anything though.

The author is INTP (says so somewhere in his LiveJournal profile), therefore the comic is INTP.

What a coincidence - I just posted an xkcd strip.

Here's another two votes for INTP - mine and my SO's.

I had this discussion with my INTJ significant other. We both thought INTJ, though I can definitely see an equally strong argument for Munroe being INTP.

Aside from his self-declaration, how did others identify him as INTP over INTJ?
