This is a most important and controversal question which needs an immediate response. What MB type is Popeye?

Someone is gonna say INFJ for popeye... just watch it.

I haven't watched the show in a LONG time... so I may very well be wrong, but Popeye may be an ESFP?

INFJ...naw I see popeye as INFP (Edit I mean ISFP thanks paintmuffin)

Introvert because he spends a lot of time on his little ship alone and is comfortable with himself.

Sensory because he tends to get stuck on the details of his misadventure and not on the big picture. Wake up Popeye, Bluto is not your pal don't trust him. He always trys to beat you up and even kill you.

Feelings - He is a lover, he loves Olive Oil and his emotions and anger drives him (until he can find a way to control the raging spirit that dwells within ...)

Perception - tends to withhold judgment. Come on Popeye again Bluto is not your friend and Olive is just a tease, you already know this, cast judgement!

all this prety much flows with the F(i), S(e), N(i),T(e) scheme too

Just pointing out the typo so other people won't get confused.
    also, I agree. ISFP.
A colleague of the great scientist James Watson remarked that Watson was always “lounging around, arguing about problems instead of doing experiments.” He concluded that “There is more than one way of doing good science.”
It was Watson’s form of idleness, the scientist went on to say, that allowed him to solve “the greatest of all biological problems: the discovery of the structure of DNA.” It's a point worth remembering in a society overly concerned with efficiency.

    What about Johnny Bravo?

I'm guessing ESTP, just for kicks.
