I was simply countering his own with my own to show the absurdity of his comment. ;)

I'm not a he... and the comment wasn't absurd, it was simply directed at anyone who never thinks with his lower head :cheese:

if that's you, I appologize, that would explain the crankiness

the idea of going for intellect and neglecting life was what I was getting at... and that's just plain sad :(

"We don't like INTJs who are aware of their own unique form of intelligence, nor the fact that INTJ intelligence fits the classical definition of intelligence, so we are going to undermine it by invoking a multi-faceted definition of intelligence where we all get our slice of the pie."

I believe that sums it up succinctly from my perspective.

Haha, that was very informative.

Who said one trumps the other?

I would rather be selfish with my feelings. At least with that, you may derive pleasure and learn self-reliance. Refusing to share your ideas seems rather foolish and unproductive.

Why be selfish with either?

Because it's a dog-eat-dog world and if you are not very good at sharing your feelings then they get misinterpreted and used against you and become unproductive. Playing on your strengths and hiding your weaknesses while making them less weak along the way works best for me ;P.

It's not a dog-eat-dog world. It may seem that way sometimes, but it's not. Not when you have other people you can depend on.
