Difficult to get a clear picture of Jesus, of course. Who knows how much of the new testament account is actually real, it leaves a lot out, and his behavior is sometimes contradictory.

The best I can do is try to make a composite out of the potentially fictional Jesus as presented.

IN is, to me, essentially a given. I see a lot of people here saying INFJ, which is a good guess, but I'm thinking INFP may be more accurate.

If Jesus is INFJ does that make Satan ESTP?

I don't think Satan/Lucifer necessarily has the opposite personality to Jesus. They are in fact quite similar in many ways.

Televangelist Christ: ESTJ
Catholic Christ: ENTJ
Protestant Christ: ESFJ
Born-Again Evangelical Christ: ENFJ

The real Christ: ENFP

All of the organizations twisted Christ into what they wanted him to be. Thus he ends up reflecting what those organizations value/want to preach. The televangelist Christ is one of legalistic judgment and ESTJ rules. Catholic Christ is all about being philosophical, rational, leader of the world, conquering other religions. Protestant Christ is more about fitting Christ into the modern world as a tradition to be maintained, a fabric of the WASP community. The born again evangelical Christ is about networking and converting, organizing college crusade events, trying to befriend everyone and show them the way of love, acceptance and freedom...yet basically ending up judgmental and intolerant...aka ENFJ

The REAL jesus though, as depicted in the bible was ENFP.
Jesus was pretty cryptic on eschatology, the Christian mythology and specific revelations/prophecies. The modern religion focuses and cherry picks on that stuff, but the majority of his stories, teachings and life were about getting people to adopt these ideas:

--reject a legalistic judgment: its about getting back in touch with God and making your "sentiment" right with God. second chances regardless of how much you dont deserve one (total Fi rejection of Te).

--reject a stock piling selfishness: sell all of your possessions today and live without worry about tomorrow, see where God takes you and give to others without concern for yours or any stock pile. aka even you cant afford it, take out a loan and feed the hungry for a day (this is NOT Fe; its Ne rejecting Si)

--the real jesus was NOTHING about having to go to church on schedule, memorizing scripture, or "converting" people to wear your religious label. He was about getting people to reject legalistic religious ideas, customs and ceremony. He wanted to remind people of what the actual "values" were behind these, regardless of cause/effect, deserving-ness or lawfulness. He rejected countless social norms.

--It wasnt ENFJ "lets change the norms", it was straight up Ne rejecting Si. The Ne chaotic love storm rejecting the anchor of Si social/social norms. He wasnt organizing "a new church" and directing resources and accumulating power like some sort of ENJ either. He wanted others to have their own power and freedom to do the right things regardless of laws, deservingness, cause/effect (Fi over Te) and regardless of dated, hurtful and insincere ceremony, ritual and beliefs (Ne over Si).

--Lastly, Jesus best fits "Get things going" over "In charge", "Chart the course" or "behind the scenes". This would leave us ENFP, ESFJ, ENTP and ESFP. ENFP is clearly the best fit. the ENFP is a far better candidate to explore the country side spreading his new ideas and "get things going" than the INFJ. I know the INFJs will be offended. Tough :D

Real jesus was ENFP

Jung said that cognitive preferences were "wounds on the psyche" (Temperament Theory & Carl Jung Types | Lenore Thomson Bentz) Since Jesus is seen as divine, (sinless, unfallen, perfect), then he would hot have any such wounds on the psyche, and hence, no cognitive preferences, and thus no type or temperament. His actions, then, would fall into the category of undifferentiated, just like love, and other universal actions that cannot be forced as process "use".

So he was well rounded, using whatever function as necessary. It seems that in an environment colored by an STJ perspective, (SiTe), Jesus in comparison appears NiFe. So as BlackCat says, anyone who is a martyr, has sympathy for people, and who is insightful or a visionary gets typed INFJ.

Yes, but, Jesus was actually a human. Or, if he did not exist at all, he still is a very human, quantifiable being in the new testament. So there's no point in remarking that he's supposed to be omni-cognizant. He obviously isn't.
