    then maybe I'm an INTP.
Well it looks like your percentages are close for either so, I guess, pick one and go nuts!

But Luna in the book just seems so generally unaffected by feeling. One exception to this might be that part in the seventh book where Harry and the others look at her bedroom and she has those big paintings of them all on her wall.

But then again I can't see any reason why this should rule out INTP's.

I guess she could be, but she's the one character in the book I relate to the most. So that might be why I'm bias, I'm sure their are plenty of other INTP's that I relate to as well.

The types are fairly similar from what I understand.

Yeah, my dad I'm 70% positive is INTP and we get each other the most out of the whole family. Which is why I'm not vehemently disagreeing with you.

that's not very credible, since I immediately identified her as an INFP.

in the end, however, i think you are right. she's probably an INTP. although she did comfort harry after sirius' death, she didn't do it in a particularly feeling way. she just offered him what she thought was the truth about death and why it was illogical for harry to be sad.

Remember when they were in the carts going to Hogwarts from the train in the fifth book? The way she spoke the truth about Hagrid's less-than-ideal class in front of people who were known (and fierce) friends of his, I would say that she definitely isn't up there on the empathy/sensitivity scale.

that's not very credible, since I immediately identified her as an INFP.
BTW I think he was pointing out to me that he was the first one to peg her as an INTP. I made it seem as though nobody had before.

Given that people's persona-types can change over time [especially considering the existence of such soul-splitting things as horcruxes], what about Voldemort vs. Tom Riddle?

Where's the "ISTP vibe" from Tom Riddle?
I think he was an INTJ from the beginning- maybe it's the inferior Se talking.

That's Voldemort. I found Tom Riddle before the change to be more calculating and good at listening.

    My guesses are...

    Harry - ISTP

    Hermione - INTJ

    Ron - ESFP
