They're similar in that they're judged for their genres. I assure you that the writing is GOOD.

    Default Some ideas

Serena van der Woodsen; ENFP 7w6 so/sx
Lily van der Woodsen; ISFJ 9w1 so/sx
    Blair Waldorf; ESTJ 3w2 so/sx
    Chuck Bass; ENTP 7w6 sx/sp
    Bart Bass; ENTJ 8w7 sp/so
    Nate Archibald; ISFJ 9w1 sp/sx
    Dan Humphrey; INFP 4w3 so/sx
    Vanessa Abrams*; ENFP 6w7 so/sp
    Jenny Humphrey; ESFP 2w3 so/sx

*From what I've read on Wikipedia, Vanessa seems more like INFP 4 in the book. Otherwise, most of the characters seem pretty consistent in both versions.

Haha, I admit I watched a few episodes. And read one book.

However, I feel that in the movie Serena is an ENFP, while in the book she seems totally ESFP.
Blair - in the movie - ESTJ, but in the book she seems more laid back.

And the others... well, who cares.

Oh, and Chuck - in the movie, he's definetly an xSTP, but in the book he seems like o total typeless moron.

I said in the book, in the movie he's quite hot.
But his character in the book was very stupidish.

Blair: ENTJ in the tv show, INFP in the book. (She's extremely different in the book. She lives in her own head a ridiculous amount, and daydreams about future possibilities like crazy, creating scenarios that could never happen where everything ends up with a happily ever after.)

    Serena: ESFP.

Nate: ISFP. (This is more prominent in the book than the TV show. He's such an S, it's ridiculous.)

Jenny: ISFP in TV show; ESFP in book.

    Dan: INFP.

Vanessa: ENFJ. (In the tv show. I skim her parts in the book because she annoys me.)

Chuck: ESTP. (This one is the hardest; I'm not sure.) He's nothing in the book because he has no development.

    Lily: INFJ.

    Bart: ENTJ.
