I can agree that Buffet is beta, but loves using metaphoric language more than any istj I know. infp instead, maybe?

Don't know if anyone takes pride in knowing that Greenspan and his old goons are istj.

So this is admittedly an older show, but what about Bob Newhart from the tv show Newhart?

I think that Elinor from Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility is an ISTJ. Some people might suggest an N, but I think ISTJ fits better the scheme of Elinor being the 'sense' and Marianne, total ENFP, being the 'sensibility'.

Why? It's quite a cool option, but I really don't think he has enough specific traits that would point to 'type'. I could as easily see him as an INFP, ISFP or almost anything else, to be honest.

Haha I looked on one of the web pages for famous ISTJs. I could agree that Buffet is ISTJ, not INFP though... he's not a P.

I see her as ISTJ now too...I assumed INTJ at first, but INTJs aren't usually that grounded.

I know he's been mentioned, but Anthony Hopkins is an ISTJ .

    A few more ISTJ people/characters:

    Jennifer Aniston
Miranda - Sex & The City
Detective Stabler - Law & Order SVU
"Charlotte sometimes dreams a wall around herself. But it's always with love - So much love it looks like everything else. Charlotte Sometimes - So far away, glass sealed and pretty." - The Cure
