Marx was an INTP despite that his philosophy seemed Jish. He lived a very unstructured life that seemed to be the quintissential of an INTP bohemian intellectual.

He was very mercurial and worked in bursts of energy and became ill when disappointments hit him--this was without a doubt psychosomatic. There is very little evidence of consistency in his life and he was always impecunious because he refused to work and clearly was the kind of a person who'd never do a job well unless he enjoyed it thoroughly.

He had little interest of living out his vision or finding success by external standards and was content with just keeping in his own private corner with his thoughts...compulsively trying to sharpen his understanding of the world...was surprisingly unambitious like Socrates who always stood outside of the store windows pondering why there is so much shit in there that he does not need...I think they have a lot in common there as for their lifestyles and reasons why they chose not to work despite the external retributions they knew they'd be forced to suffer..

I just have to say this: George Lucas is INTJ! How one could claim he is S is beyond me... He is quite simply a visionary. Anyhow, interesting to read.

    Not this again...

And for the record, George Lucas is simply a modern day Tolkien.

And Richard Gere is a solid INFJ -- he's a Buddhist, for Christ's sake! -- why did you think he was ISTJ?

Okay, you talked me into it -- I type Michael Bay as an ENTP.

    OOO, this stuff is fun.

    ENFP
Clarence Darrow. Jeez, that's the only one I can think of. Isn't that annoying? Gah, I don't even like him. But I'm sure he was ENFP

    INTJ
    Carl Jung
    Jared Diamond

    INTP
Einstien: not for the dumb reasons, but that his paper on special relativity is practically an introverted thinking manifesto

    ISFP
    Sister Helen Prejan

I was under the impression that Bob Dylan was an ISFP.

Modern day Tolkien? er.....I would have to disagree on that point

Princess Di was a self-confirmed INFP.

I would be interested in finding out George Clooney's type. He doesn't appear to feel the need to fit in in Hollywood (big deal in that business) which makes me think NT. And he gives off introvert.
