Ive met him also, He's Seem very laid back and easy going. He wasn't quite like the drummer where he was gabbing away smiling but he wasn't quite like the lead singer where he looked like he was deep inside his own head. When growing up he said at one point when he moved, he had no friends so he locked himself in his room all day with is guitar. Introvert Im thinking

He was also in creed, and he put up with Scott stapp for a long time. Scott was an alcoholic and pill popper. He had to have alot of patience to put up with someone like that, until finally cracking and saying thats enough.

Whenever he writes music, he says he has to be alone. Because there no one can judge you or anything. He also felt like he did deserve his signature guitar he got. People were telling him he was a good guitar player but he beat himself up about it, which only lead him to get better. He constantly feels he can improve and that he hasn't even mastered the guitar.
