Should convicted felons be allowed to vote?

Also, do felons lose their citizenship while incarcerated?

I don't think they should be allowed to run for any political power, but certainly they should have the right to have their voice heard.

I thought perhaps the only obstacle would be the present governing body suspecting a barrage of negative sentiment, votes against themselves, etc, from those already incarcerated. The prison population is so high. Anti-establishment?

They ARE citizens. There is a huge difference between the two and how they are treated. Citizen felons still get cable tv, good food, I think there was once a HUGE debate in court because the felons didn't get their twinkies or something and won. I heard something vaguely similar to that on the news a long while back. Felons live it up.

In principle, yes. I have not yet heard a compelling, defensible justification for why they should be deprived of the right to vote. It is particularly galling that someone who has done the time for his crime should be penalized after the term is over.

Felons should get back all their rights once released. If you have any questions like "Really? Even x?", please refer back to the bolded statement for my opinion. Note: I am not a felon, nor do I intend to be.
