Oh, I knew about that -- I had guessed Jackson was on the list.

Makes George "frat boy" Bush look like a pantywaist.

No, I think the male cheerleader thing is what made Bush look like a pantywaist.

New List: "Five Top Pantywaist Presidents"!!!

James Buchanan - The only single president, utterly ineffective in office
James Polk - With a name like that, I couldn't help thinking it.
William McKinley - Very sentimental, even asked if his assassin was okay and didn't want him to be hurt
Jimmy Carter - lotsa smoldering lust in his heart, not enough grit in his pants
George W Bush - Self-proclaimed marlboro man came from Brokeback Mountain

Agreed. Pantywaists one and all.

Oh, HELL no. Polk was a badass. He was a strong supporter of Andrew Jackson. He took the opportunity as President to declare war on Mexico, and go kick them in the nuts. He played gunboat diplomacy with the U.K. and got them to surrender territory on the cheap. Manifest destiny, hello? He was anti-slavery even when that wasn't popular. He set up the U.S. Naval Academy.

And if you don't believe me, maybe They Might Be Giants can show you reason.

Oh, that was HIM? I knew what he did, I just forgot it was him.

Hmph. Now we have an extra panty slot. Anyone else who fits the bill?

Clinton was/is kind of a pantywaist, too. He loves the ladies, but was pretty doughy back in the day. A bit of a childish temper, but I can't imagine him, say, getting shot and finishing a speech.

Calvin Coolidge was another one. Rather introverted and foppish. Look at this college pic of him:

I am surprised that Zachary Taylor didn't make the cut for badass presidents. He was pretty bloodthirsty (especially dealing with the American Indians), and there is another (possibly apocryphal) story that he led a classroom rebellion as a young man, and tied up the teacher he hated. His nickname was "Old Rough and Ready." That could be construed as either super-manly or oddly effeminate.

William Henry Harrison. Died a month after taking office cause he got a bit wet.

I also would have suggested Zachary Taylor for badass-in-chief. And Calvin Coolidge wasn't really a pantywaist...

I'd like a superclone of Dwight Eisenhower and Jimmy Carter.

I'm pretty sure, that if Andrew Jackson resurrected and saw his face on the twenty dollar bill, he'd open several cans of whoop ass.
