Super Tuesday

We pretty much find out who the candidates for each party will be.

Thoughts? Favorites? Rants?

Also, as a decline-to-state voter, I can influence any party's choice in CA. I am leaning towards voting in the democratic primary for Obama.

As usual, I cannot be an "issue voter" because most candidates would only hold my views an a sparse number of issues and they are about the same in this respect.

I want to vote for who I think will be the best leader.

Any suggestions? Reasons for who you think will make the best leader?

(My vote will remain anonymous, BTW)

I've already voted for Hillary (am also a decline-to-state voter). Sent my absentee ballot in ages ago- before all the commercials for the candidates and the propositions started running! *mutters* Does give me a good excuse to avoid all those volunteer folks overrunning the school campus, though.

That is the only reason I shall not vote for her.

Why would I choose to put Bill Clinton in a position that he can pull all the strings, while suffer none of the public scrutiny? (He was amoral and questionable enough while he was directly under the eye of America.. I don't think I need to go into detail here...)

How about McCain on the Republican mside?

It seems like in CA both races are pretty even, but the republican race may be more closely contested.

I would prefer McCain over Huckabee for sure.

Huckabee is more likely to be at a disadvantage due to the fact that he does not fit the "image" of a president of the United States. As much as the American people deny its importance, it is an integral factor.

The dude was an adulterer. Get over it. The fact that Hilary can forgive him after that, and the public humiliation, says a lot about the kind of woman she is and the kind of leader she would be. Don't hold her accountable for her husband's failures. I wouldn't even hold her accountable for her husband's successes. The fact that people even think it matters seems silly to me.

Personally, I prefer Obama, because I like his policies a bit more. A plan for non mandatory universal health care and making government transparent for the people once again.

McCain is just a 3rd Bush. Same policies and same war. The only difference is he claims he will cut down on spending. A great idea, but kinda useless when you are supporting a trillion dollar war.

Huckabee is just scary. I really don't want this country ran by a fundamentalist Christian. I guess I like Romney the most out of the Republican side.
