Some folks are worried about it hitting the earth, but NASA has only been talking about it possibly colliding with Mars.
Right now, there's a 1 in 10,000 chance that the asteroid will hit Mars. NASA - Astronomers Rule Out Possibility of Asteroid Impact on Mars |

if in the wrong mood I might say that I hoped that it hit earth- I really don't hope that it does though- that would kind of suck- I want to live until I'm at least 50! ![]() if we could see the aurora borealis at mid latitudes bc of it though- THAT would be awesome!

I don't understand what the point of the last part was, where they showed the orbit of Earth with the asteroid in vector graphics. The intro to it said "Ready for the impossible?" and I expected some kind of cataclysm. Then I just saw little graphics of the asteroid in our neighborhood. Am I missing something?
