I had to deal with a certain individual who was high up in the HR department for some company, conducting training programs on topics such as racial sensitivity. She kept talking about how important the issue was, too. But from the way she was speaking about the preferences of black people as portrayed through her program, I wouldn't be surprised if she'd never met a black person in her life.
The program in question was actively trying to avoid and preach against racism, but it'd come full-circle and basically careened right into it. They would've accomplished their goal better by just leaving the issue alone.
