Translate to Corporate America's attempts to colonise Free Europe. No thanks, we still have vestiges of Democracy over here, not the American Corporate State. As usual, the face of real Capitalism wants to suppress all competion, ideological as much as any other.

I believe the plan is to create the Amero after our currency truly collapses from the massive hyper infaltion they're trying to create. That is, one currency for Mexico, Canada, and the U.S. If I remember correctly, they want the whole world put into similar such groupings. New World Order, One World Government, call it what you will...

I read all 3 articles. As far as I can tell, it's about harmonising regulations to minimise trade barriers. In theory, that's a positive but in practice I hope it doesn't turn out to be the lowest common denominator reducing regulations for things like food safety or testing required to prove the safety and efficacy of drugs.

I'm curious as to whether this was initiated by the US or the EU, as to who stands to gain the most from this.

The only substantial agreement so far seems to be that the US has convinced the EU to drop the import ban on poultry that have been fed growth enhancers (ie antibiotics).

If the rest of the TEC outcomes are along those lines, I suspect Oleander may be correct.
