Default Sargon of Akkad & David Rubin

    Purge the wrongthinkers!

    YouTube

@asynartetic Sargon makes an excellent point about robots replacing human production and only then could/would socialism be possible, but until then like Locke said "Every man has a property in his own person. This nobody has a right to, but himself" A man has to own his own production & fruits of his labor. Reminds me of Governor Bradford & Americas own failed socialist experiment, aka Plymouth Colony and why the experiment failed. Of Plymouth Plantation | Early Americas Digital Archive (EADA)
"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... Some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age. [Trump's] rhetoric is not an abuse of power. In the same way that it's also not against the law to do a backflip off of the roof of your house onto your concrete driveway. It's just mind-numbingly stupid and, to say the least, counterproductive. - Bush did 9-11

I dated a half-Portuguese girl in my freshman year. She was pretty, the girl in the video reminded me of her eyes.

The Mediterranean/Southern women are among the most beautiful in Europe, no contest. Sweden and Eastern Europe have nothing on Portugal and Greece.

Latinas are objectively a superior phenotype. At least according to the judges of Ms. Universe. Of the last 20 Ms. Universes 15? or 16? or so are Latina.

Pretty sure you've seen the Sargon video? He came out as a social liberal btw, pro choice, anti capital punishment, pro socialized health and a HUGE liberal overall. He uses the classic liberal label though because most of the people he engages don't know the difference between social liberal and classic liberal and it's just 'easier' that way. After the show him and David planned on smoking some weed after they hit an In N' Out.

Some welsh people have dark features, I think Catherine Zeta Jones is Welsh, very nice. Must be those celtic genes, sometimes those celtic women almost look Mediterranean.

Why do people who claim they are socially liberal consistently speak out against stances that are socially liberal? Surely certain positions on immigration and feminism count as social liberalism. Social liberalism isn't just coming out in favor of gay marriage after it's already been made legal.

Sargon supports abortion rights and is opposed to the death penalty, so I think there's a little more to it than just supporting gay marriage. I can't really speak for Rubin, I'm not sure what his views are.

I think there's been a bit of a rift in liberalism that has grown in recent years, but the rift probably began sometime prior to WWII. Some people who are egalitarian in their worldviews but see rigged outcomes (i.e. affirmative action, "diversity hiring," et al) as antithetical to liberalism and egalitarianism VS people who support such measures to ensure equality of outcome.

I think it boils down to whether one values more the equality of outcomes or the equality of opportunities. I think there's also a fair bit of disagreement between said camps on how to define and address "luck egalitarianism"

That's all well and good, but if that's the case, the issue goes beyond social liberalism and social conservatism, and perhaps requires a more nuanced approach..
