Couldn't Britain mediate between the US and the EU if (not when but if) they ever can't get along?
(Honestly, that was going to be the thread title but it was too long)..
But if Britain were on good terms with both EU and US, and the EU and US relations grew sour, couldn't Britain help/somehow? Given excellent ties were held with both EU and US for GB.

Why would they? It might be in their interest to upset EU to gain some power leverage.

It wants to ignore votes and over turn things that get veto'd.
The EU isn't up for listening but for controlling export and import, and it takes that to people and finance; 1 currency, 1 exchange rate, great for credit for weaker economies, great for creditors who loan loans on credit for the purpose to buy from the bank so once the bank's money gets spent on stuff from the bank, there's no more money left to pay back the bank because money wasn't spent on the person borrowing the money but instead jobs went to people who came from the bank. Materials were bought from the bank to build so no one at home earned because their money went straight back to the bank who never invested it into them.
The EU is like a big baby that does what it wants.
