We don't want a war but we might be in one.

America and Europe are not truly dividing and in fact there are very similar patterns emerging between both bodies with both experiencing a increase in anti-neoliberalism nationalism which is not a bad thing however how many people say it is as with Russia and China we paradoxically both need to be more united and yet more independent and sure of ourselves so to speak. Like a bunch of shapes we need more diversity in shapes to counter different things and keep a level of competition between the nations as homogeneity creates complementy and lack of dynamic spark. On the other hand we should learn to not accidentally jab one another on accident with the cube edges so some working together and rules is needed.
If Europe stops freaking out over Trump like in the article at the bottom of the page and start seeing America for the allies they really are then Europe and America can stand together instead of dividing. Trump may be a buffon but can you really say he is worse than any other president. Trump won and there is no stopping a legally elected president from serving his term so the EU might as well instead of antagonizing him work with him. (I know the Democrats won the popular vote but that is a problem with Americas political system and nothing the EU can do about it).

Russia are scaling down airstrikes in Syria, these airstrikes are coordinated airstrikes pulling resources from Russia and Turkey.
There is a civil war in Syria, Putin is backing the Syrian government; The Arab Spring saw protesters rise up in the Middle East in 2011; the Syrian government responded by killing hundreds of protesters starting the bloodiest civil war in the 21st century...
In 2016 Turkey thwarted a coup d'état against it.
Donald Trump supports Putin.
The EU is paying €3bn to Turkey to hold back these prisoners of war angry at 'the west'.
It's not a case of if the EU can afford this, it's a case of extortion and using the suffering of people humanity rights used as a weapon mechanism for pissed off Jihadists.
To align with resistance to American attacks (who do you think started the Arab spring on Facebook)?
To divide between EU with with Brexit and Trump could a war trigger some emergency alliance if home in the west ever became a battleground?

What do we want to do?
We can't turn Russia into a fan of these tactics, nor can we deny the legality of their response, only the illegality of any involvement in Arab Spring.
What is Russia up to?
Is Russia to Syria like China is to N. Korea whispering (Calm down)!, or is Russia an unofficial enemy of America since Arab Spring is considered an attack on governments out there who, btw - geniuses, make it perfectly legal to kill hundreds of people opposing it, so there is nothing anyone can do. Does Russia work with Turkey who in 2016, suppressed a coup d'état to work against American influenced ideologies of freedom and revolution (which I personally like), but it's illegal and therefore covert, can't we get America to openly APOLOGISE for this?
- It will satisfy the need and the want of the accuser to validate their righteousness upon admittance of involvement into the Arab Spring 'etc...' 'yadi yadi yada'.
- It will promise to not do that again.
Even if America apologises for something it didn't do, it'll show the enemy its listening, not interfering.
So any further murdering and warring when renouncing all allegiances should then therefore be dealt with on an international level, with laws of 'no genocide on an WMD level & no dirty bombs being reviewed and can't an amendment to supersede nation states who commit murders, rape, torture and make it the new low for mankind, on a humanitarian level, to make it legal again to regime change? ',
Truthfully, WMDs and dirty bombs are more environmental concerns to humanity and so therefore, are more easily achieved.
If Putin isn't advising the government to be easy on the killing and the suppression but instead finding a mutual enemy attacking from the west, then, what are Russia doing? I hope Russia didn't just buy the US president.
LEGALLY any country can do what it wants to its own people to a certain point..
That's why mustard gas against the Kurds in Iraq by Saddam Hussein started Desert Storm and allegations of WMD were trumped up in the War on Terror.
