My goodness! I better tell all my friends this shocking newsflash.
So what if they are doing it for ambition? There are no unselfish acts. Even the guy who throws himself on a
grenade to save his buddies does so because it would be more painful for him to live with the loss of his buddies than for him to throw himself on that grende at that moment in time. Doesn't make him any less of a hero.

Zbigniew Brzezinski has been itching for an opportunity to set up a Middle Eastern power block and to destabilize Russia and China. He's written all about it in his books, definitely check out "The Grand Chessboard" which I have not read completely (but didn't have to). The (hush hush) genocide in East Timor was an American endeavor beneath Brzezinski, and even the foreign policies that people DID hear about were widely unpopular (during Carter administration.) Putting many pieces together, it is not surprising to me that Zbiggy is Obama's National Security Adviser. Obama's presence at the Bilderberg Group in 2007 is also alarming. (Though still somehow not surprising)

If you think that means I must support McCain, to any degree, it would unnerve me to hear this. I just talk about McCain less because his foreign policy is more clearly frightening, unlike Obama's covert campaign. Both have plans beneath the surface, though, which should be obvious to anyone who follows politics.

As both candidates are members of the Council on Foreign Relations, I would NEVER trust these men.

Unless you really just can't take the time to vote, it doesn't really cost you anything. No one other than Obama and McCain stand a chance to win. Voting for them will not suddenly remove your ability to form independent thoughts or contest the two party system, etc.. And surely you think that one of them is at least a little better than the other. So be pragmatic, and vote for that one.

And I don't want to hear any crap about the "symbolism" of not voting. No one is going to notice, or if they did, they wouldn't care.
There are other people running besides the Democrat and the Republican.

These are the choices we have. Short of working to reform the way politicians are elected in the US, what are you gonna do?

Absolutely nothing, short of what you suggest.

What you suggest is the minimum right course of action.

You can vote outside of the two-party system.

That's what you call a self-fulfilling prophecy. For as long as people believe it, they'll make it come true.

At this point nothing can change it unless an extremely popular independent decides to run at the last minute. Media controls it to a large extent.
