    On a serious note, are felons not citizens? I don't think they should be given absentee ballots in prison lol, but a rehabilitated and functioning member of society should be afforded their rights as any other citizen is. No right to vote? Might as well deport them too. Not that I'm against that idea in some cases. Citizenship = right to vote.

    Voting rights can be restored by a court order, which isn't all that hard to get.
