Like I'm suspecting this was created by a huge troll but on the off chance that they are serious, as much as equality is cool and all, no, I don't need a special day for being a heterosexual because I was never threatened just for liking men.

If the 95% of the population that is straight wants to celebrate it, then enjoy. Just not sure if anyone cares, since they're the mainstream.

What do you call a heterosexual pair bonding? The relationship between one man and one woman?

I know what it used to be.

I dont know a word for that any more.

The existence of the label and its meaning were deemed discriminatory enough for a global campaign to kick off. This seems stupid but the campaign to aggressively promote the lifestyle of 5% of the population as being equally commonplace, what is that?

Huh? Labels were not considered discriminatory. The labels or homosexual or heterosexual are neutral. The discriminatory acts of specific violence against homosexuals was. The fact that they didn't have the same rights as heterosexual people was what the whole fight was for.

I don't see aggressive campaigns to promote the gay lifestyle (??). How can you promote something you are or are not? I see celebration of their sense of pride, and therefore if anyone else wants to celebrate what makes them special, so be it.

We have St Pats Day for the Irish, Puerto Rican Day parade...what's the difference? Are they aggressively promoting their races? I would say that if they are to the exclusion of others, then you may have a point. Still, I have never been rejected because of how I look or who I sleep with if I went to one of these celebrations.

    Kind of silly.
