Pfft, yeah, true. Many other kinds of politicians do, too.

Damned politicians. They all need to fart.

Speaking of that previous mention of pathos: w00t to high school english class! (not really... analyzing things was always a struggle for me... but I did get an A!)
Teaching is a different environment. There, you have to appeal to people's hearts and minds. It is okay to have a motivator in that environment. BUT NOT IN POLITICS. Like I've said in other threads, you can be a fanciful fart in every other area of life, but NOT POLITICS.

I don't agree with this at all. And the world isn't democratic.

WORD!!! The world isn't ANYTHING. The world cannot be generalized, except to say that we're all human, and flawed.

Also, democracy caters to those who are big on FAIRNESS (that would be me, and lots of other SJs). Actually, I'm guessing that democracy caters to everyone... except communists, fascists, socialists... etc.

I referenced english class because I learned about ethos, pathos and logos there... and have pretty much never had a chance to use any of those words without 1. confusing people, or 2. sounding REALLY nerdy.

I kind of see your point, though. But the more I read your posts on this thread, the more I think you're a T who has a thing against the F mindset. (Who else would use the phrase "fanciful fart" in a sentence?)
