You have sheep genes? Already? I did not know we are so advanced in genetic manipulation.

Gentlemen of the jury. It is my heavy duty to inform the venerable audience that the public vote has been cancelled.

describes beautifully and concisely the original voyage to the East. The main branch of the eastern voyagers never left the tropics.

There are still be people, like the Andamanese and the Nicobarese, who may descend directly from the people of the original wave.

The Genetic Origins of the Andaman Islanders

Herr Uberfuhrer. What a curious name.
Once we have dealt with the Andamanese and the Nicobarese we are heading for Indochina.
And what shall we find there?

Hmmm...we must destroy all evidence of this. We must wipe out this current history and invent a new one!

When are you heading to Scandinavia?

I'm trying to figure out what Fuehrer literally translates to in English (yes, I know it means "leader," but I said literal), since English is a Germanic language. I'm thinking maybe it's something like "forer." Hence, maybe a word that isn't used anymore, but I think the root "fore" has something to do with it.

Yes, linguistics are another one of my esoteric hobbies.

Il Duce! Herr Fuehrer! Herra Förare! Herr Leiter!

Leiten is to lead. In Swedish föra. Literally yes it is leader.
    From the verb to lead.

Now I take some water from the aquaductapparat and then I lead my legs to bed.
Good night. Sweet dreams, herr Uberfuhrer.

Alas, I don't speak the language of my own country. Anything beyond that is a step too far - is this Gaelic again?

Yep. It says: -Did you ever hear a thing like that? An odd bloke.

I studied the language a long time ago and alas, have forgotten. Time to brush it up, eh?

Do your parents or grandparents speak the language of your country?

I once saw a movie where they spoke Kymri, but did not understand a thing.

Anyone out there knows a thing about the language of the Andaman Islanders?
When the linguists talk about related languages they mean vocabulary and the morphology that agrees with semantics.
Words are borrowed with or without their morphological context. Words wither away and are born all the time. They come and they go.
We are talking about timescales here that are of such magnitude where words do not count.
What counts is the syntax and the basic phonology.
When languages are related you can hear it.
