And the British originated in Eastern Europe.

And we all originated in Africa, anyways.

But the Ottoman Empire spanned the entire Mediterranean, including all of the North African coast:

You also have the Umayyad Turks that had conquered the North African coast before that. Either way, it's a moot point because I predicated that entire point on what your definition of "black" is.

Low melanin content and ancestry that can be traced back relatively recently to sub-Saharan Africa?

Also, the Umayyads were Arabs, not Turks. Same religion, different ethnic group.
[Trump's] rhetoric is not an abuse of power. In the same way that it's also not against the law to do a backflip off of the roof of your house onto your concrete driveway. It's just mind-numbingly stupid and, to say the least, counterproductive. - Bush did 9-11

So I guess most African Americans aren't black?

What about Libyans? They aren't Sub-Saharan.

Also, you mean high melanin. Low melanin is white.

No, they are. They can trace their ancestry back to sub-Saharan Africa relatively recently in the timeline of human experience.

I wouldn't call them black, although these labels are often aribtrary and complicated. Still, there is a history attached to them, which means that denying the existence of these labels is committing an error of another sort.

    Correct. I had erred.

"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... Some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age.
